LSL Planning has developed dozens of corridor plans and access management plans for communities and agencies. These corridors include the full “transect” from rural to suburban to urban character zones. Many of these projects include multiple jurisdictions and agencies. Most of our corridor plans include both the private realm (landmark and building form) and the right-of-way (pedestrian/bike zones, parking and roadway design). Some also include evaluation of transit and road design alternatives and overlay zoning districts and other tools to help implement the recommendations.
Recognized experts in corridor planning, LSL professionals are members of the Transportation Research Board’s Access Management Committee and frequent speakers on corridor planning at national conferences. Our planning division manager is an approved Michigan Department of Transportation access management instructor.
